Startups are attracting serious funding to provide fun, alcohol-free drink options to the masses. Canned water company Liquid Death announced that it has raised $67 million in new funding at a $1.4 billion valuation, while non-alcoholic brewery Athletic Brewing Company said it raised $50 million. Tech might not necessarily be the differentiator for either company, you can still see them as disruptive startups as they’re trying to create new beverage categories.
